Trip Overview
The Tibetan Cave and Monastery Tour is a fabulous tour that embarks from Lhasa and spends the next 6 days venturing into two of the most culturally rich areas in Tibet. The tour explores monasteries, caves, palaces, temples and much more. In Lhasa, the tour starts with an exploration of Chim Phu Cave, Samye Monastery and a tour of Yambulakhang Palace. The following day the tour visits more palaces and the largest man made garden in Tibet. The Tibetan Cave and Monastery Tour continues the following day with an expedition to the caves of Dagze County and a tour of Ganden Monastery. The trip ends with a tour Sera and Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and a visit to the Open air Bazaar.
