Trip Overview
The Chulu East Climb is listed as the highest trekking peak by Nepal Mountaineering Association. However it is not the most difficult. Chulu East Peak climb will surely be a fantastic adventure. The peak overlooks the beautiful Manang Valley and is a few days trek from the Annapurna circuit trail. The adventure begins near Lamjung and Manang with a walk through a forested trail. The trail also passes through traditional villages with plenty of places to rest and purchase supplies. After summiting the peak, the adventure continues on the Annapurna Circuit trail.
The climb to the top of Chulu East Peak involves walking on glaciers and is slightly demanding. The peak is rated PD to PD+ (“peu difficile” or “slightly difficult”) on the International French Adjectival System (IFAS).

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, meet guide and Check into to a hotel.
Day 02: Go sightseeing.
Day 03: Travel to Jagat and trek to Dharapani. -08 hrs, 1,920 m / 6,300 ft
Day 04: Trek to Chame. -05 hrs, 2,670 m / 8,760 ft
Day 05: Trek to Pisang. -05 hrs, 3,230 m /10,597 ft
Day 06: Acclimate in Pisang and go on local hikes
Day 07: Trek to Julu. -06 hrs, 3,900 m / 12,795 ft
Day 08: Trek Chulu Base Camp. -03 hrs, 5,300 m / 17,388 ft
Day 09: Acclimate at Chulu Base Camp.
Day 10: Summit Chulu East Peak. -05 hrs, 6,584 m / 21,601 ft
Day 11: spare day for inclement weather
Day 12: Trek to Manang. -04 hrs, 3,350 m / 10,990 ft
Day 13: Trek to Yak Kharka. -04 hrs, 4,110 m / 13,484 ft
Day 14: Trek to Thorong High Camp. -04 hrs, 4,600 m / 15,091 ft
Day 15: Cross Thorong-La Pass and to Muktinath. -06 hrs, 3,800 m / 12,467 ft
Day 16: Trek to Jomsom. -04 hrs, 2,713 m / 8,900 ft
Day 17: Travel to Pokhara or Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel.
Day 18: Conclude trip in Pokhara or Kathmandu.
