Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar from Simikot to Lhasa

The trip starts in Kathmandu with a day for preparation then a flight to Nepalgunj. The following day the trek begins in the remote regions of Far West Nepal. The trail follows ancient trails, pilgrimage paths, and trade routes. The trek to Tibet is adorned with beautiful landscapes featuring cliffs, terraced farm lands, a river, monasteries, a hot spring, forests and small villages. After entering Tibet, the trek concludes with a circumambulation of Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. The conclusion of the trek marks the beginning of the tour. After exploring caves, and visiting monasteries, the tour continues to Lhasa. On the way to Lhasa, the tour visits more monasteries with incredible works of art. The tour also stops at high mountain passes, such as Drolma-La Pass and Mayum-La Pass take in the beautiful scenery. More lakes are also visited such as Turquoise Lake and Lake of Compassion.
