Chitwan National Park and Culture Tour

The Chitwan National Park is the oldest national park in Nepal. Chitwan Park was established by king Dipendra in 1973, it was not granted national park status until 1984. It was originally a game preserve for royalty and dignitaries, but due to increased tourism it became evident that the preservation of the park was in the countries best interest.
